Description We are in search of a Consumer Product Compliance Consultant to join our team in San Francisco, California. The role revolves around the fintech banking industry, offering a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Consumer Product Compliance Consultant, you will be tasked with ensuring compliance in consumer product operations, including testing and auditing.Responsibilities: Conduct compliance testing for consumer products, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations Analyze and interpret regulatory guidelines such as TILA, UDAAP, Reg DD, Reg E, and Truth in Savings Collaborate with the compliance team to identify and mitigate compliance risks in consumer banking operations Handle consumer complaints, investigating issues thoroughly and providing appropriate solutions Perform compliance audits, identifying areas of non-compliance and recommending corrective actions Develop and maintain compliance documentation, ensuring all processes and procedures are up-to-date Contribute to the management of compliance activities, ensuring all tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner Stay informed about changes in fintech banking and credit card payments industry regulations, updating compliance strategies as needed Work closely with other teams to implement compliance practices into day-to-day operations Provide compliance advice and guidance to the team, promoting a culture of compliance within the organization. Requirements Proficiency in UDAAP (Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices) regulations Knowledge and experience in Consumer Banking Ability to handle and resolve Consumer Complaints efficiently In-depth understanding of Banking Compliance regulations Experience with Compliance Audit procedures Ability to prepare and manage Compliance Documentation Experience in Compliance Management, including developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs.
