They offer specialized capital and expertise to propel companies onto the global stage and are an SEC-registered investment adviser managing billions of dollars. They are seeking a Controller to join their Finance team. Reporting to both the Director and CFO, you’ll play a crucial role in daily operations, ensuring top-tier accounting and reporting procedures. This HYBRID position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the capital call and distribution process for private equity funds.

Manage the performance of accounting and operations systems.

Collaborate with deal teams and external advisors on fund administration.

Lead the financial close process for investment vehicles.

Assist with credit line processes, resolve technical accounting issues, and address investor inquiries.

Support external fund audits and assist with tax and compliance tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related; CPA is a plus.

10+ years of accounting experience, with expertise in private equity/venture capital.

Strong understanding of US GAAP and excellent problem-solving skills.

Proven leadership abilities and interpersonal skills.

Experience with database management and adaptability to new technologies.

Familiarity with fund accounting software like QuickBooks, FloQast, or Allvue preferred.
