Overview:

The cook/housekeeper is responsible for preparing meals and snacks for up to 30 people. This will include everything from planning the menus, shopping and executing the complete meal. The cook/housekeeper will also ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas as well as other housekeeping duties on campus.

Responsibilities:

Post a two-week menu taking client requests and preferences into consideration

Maintain a log of client preferences, allergies, etc.

Prepare meals and snacks for clients and staff and ensure fresh snacks always available

Under the direction of the Regional Program Director, purchase groceries and supplies in accordance with the weekly menu

Responsible to oversee grocery shopping and maintaining a minimum two-week food supply

Review expiration dates for stored food and discard when necessary

Properly store, date, and dispose of leftovers in accordance with state licensing regulations

Clean the kitchen and dining area after food preparation and service.

At the direction of the Regional Program Director, maintain and properly rotate the emergency food supply

Qualifications:

Must have related experience cooking for a crowd.

Ability to adjust to food allergies.

ServSafe Certification Preferred

Maintain criminal record clearance.
