Cooks for immediate hire

Scratch Bakery Cafe located in Laguna Hills is seeking experienced cooks to join our dedicated kitchen staff! You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in our kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Prepare all served food

Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours

Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions

Follow standard recipes

Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances

Qualifications:

Previous experience cooking in restaurants with emphasis on breakfast and lunch.

Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques

Strong attention to detail

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work well in teams

We are looking to fill all shifts. We are a fast growing company with opportunity for growth. Hourly wage based on experience plus tips.

Must be available from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm and on weekends. Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly desired. Must be able to read and speak English.
