Corporate Counsel, Amazon Vehicle Sales

We're looking for a talented attorney to join our team and help build innovative automotive-shopping experiences for our customers. This attorney will work closely with business development, product, and tech teams as counsel to launch a new shopping category on Amazon.This attorney will have transactional drafting and negotiation responsibilities for commercial agreements, including technology and licensing agreements and will advise business clients on products, services and strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will be a fast learner who is detail-oriented and customer-obsessed, and will be able to work independently and comfortably while making decisions in ambiguous situationsKey job responsibilities

Providing ongoing legal counseling in a wide range of legal areas, such as advertising, consumer protection, and regulatory compliance

Serving as counsel and directly advising business clients on product/services and strategic partnerships

Structuring, drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including technology and licensing

About the teamThis role is one of the first on a newly formed team with a vision to create innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection. 5+ years of legal experience

Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent

Prior experience as counsel in the automotive industry

Preferred Qualifications

Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work

Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent

The base pay for this position ranges from $123,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in our highest geographic market.
