Cost Accountant

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cost Accountant in the financial industry, based in Oxnard, California. This role is primarily focused on cost accounting responsibilities in a busy and dynamic workplace.Key responsibilities: Conducting detailed inventory cost analysis Accurately maintaining and analyzing work order performance and profitability Providing support for the implementation of Standard Costing Management Information Systems Producing and evaluating standard costing reports and cost allocation Processing production work orders on a monthly basis Cooperatively working with Production Management and staff to implement required solutions Using Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks Constantly monitoring and updating production accounting software Ensuring integrity and credibility in all accounting tasks Reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) in production.Requirements Proficiency in KPI Reporting Mastery of Standard Cost Accounting Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel Demonstrated expertise in Inventory Analysis Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
