Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Cost Controlling Manager to be a part of our team. The selected candidate will be in charge of various financial and accounting functions, including auditing, budgeting processes, and data mining. This role is based in Emeryville, California, 94612, United States.Responsibilities: Responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis. Prepares the consolidated monthly results for Diagnostic Industrial and Industrial financial reports. Provides analytical insight during monthly financial reviews to drive Industrial division performance. Consolidates manufacturing cost and inventory data for monthly management reports. Coordinates annual budget and monthly forecast planning with all Industrial plants. Supports Industrial division-wide initiatives and projects. Offers ad hoc financial support to the Diagnostic Industrial management team as directed by the Sr. Director, Dx Industrial Finance. Manages and confirms the accuracy of forecast information reported in global SAP and BI modules.Serves as a Financial Shared Services liaison. Leads coordination with internal and external audit teams. Provides legal entity accounting support and occasionally prepares accounting memos. Identifies and drives processes for efficient financial data capture, analysis, and reporting. Collaborates with Dx Industrial Finance and IT teams to adapt systems to changing business structure. Supports SAP S4HANA Migration. Participates actively in global Industrial Finance meetings and Dx Industrial Finance initiatives. Continually strives to improve the quality of support provided by the Dx Industrial Finance function.Requirements Minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance or Cost Accounting. Prior experience with the SAP software. Proficiency in cost accounting and inventory management. Experience in working with internal customers. Highly motivated and posses an inquisitive nature. Strong analytical and presentation skills demonstrated. Proven financial planning and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Excellent interpersonal skills. Capable of providing a business challenge to partners when needed.Education Requirement: MBA or Master Degree in Finance.
