Adecco is seeking a Crimping Tech for Temp to hire opportunity with our local client in Carlsbad California. Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, fulfillment, or production environment is beneficial.Responsibilities for Crimping Tech jobs include:

Performs a variety of specific or specialized repetitive manual tasks with hand tools, and equipment to assist in mechanical/ electro-mechanical assembly of products that include; printed circuit boards, wire and cable harnesses, and whole units/systems.

Follows methods and sequence of operations according to specifications, blueprints, drawings, procedures, verbal and written instructions received from management or line lead to perform work.

Works cooperatively with the production team to meet production quotas on the assembly line with consistent speed and accuracy.

Performs various prepping tasks associated with assembly; such as stripping, splicing, crimping, cutting, potting, tinning wire, stuffing, and verifying components.

Populates circuit boards; wiring and building cable harnesses.Uses manual soldering equipment to perform through-hole, rework, and surface mount technology.

Performs soldering on wires and printed circuit boards to install additional parts/components, cables and switches.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or training preferred; and/or one-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.

Core Competencies

Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.

Ability to interpret blueprints, procedural manuals and instructions written in English

Must be able to work independently and able to apply common sense understating to carry out detailed written or oral instructions;

Proficiency with computer skills;

Must be detailed and quality oriented;

Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with others to achieve goals.
