Cross Functional Assembler

Our client, a well-known organization in Rancho Cordova is looking for a Cross Functional Assembler to join their team on a full time basis. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting the manufacturing of vacuum envelope mechanical sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Successful candidates will have experience inspecting all levels of assemblies and be familiar with using of common measuring equipment such as optical comparators, drop gages, calipers, microscopes and measuring scopes.

• A self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
• Experience with small parts, small hand tools, and microscopes
• Prior blue print and procedures reading experience
• Attentiveness to details with a strong desire for precision and accuracy when executing job duties
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from management and engineering staff.
• Ability to pick up 5 to 20 lbs.

• Tig welding and Bell Jar brazing experience a plus
• Clean room experience and knowledge of Foreign Object Debris (FOD control)
• Ability or prior experience of reading Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• U.S. Person for access to ITAR-Controlled Technical Data.

• May be tasked with lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 25 lbs., if able to do so.
• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for moderate periods of time.
• Must be able to bend at the knees and waist frequently
• Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and a computer mouse and keyboard.
