Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

7 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.

3 years of experience in data analysis using SQL to identify trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field.

5 years of experience leading projects and working with cross-functional teams, to include experience interacting with senior stakeholders and executives.

Understanding of YouTube and the larger social media ecosystem, to include online abuse.

Passion for content abuse, content abuse’s real-world implications, and making YouTube a safe place for our users.

Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) with the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Monitor online communities discussing the identification of vulnerabilities in YouTube systems that can be exploited for financial or ideological purposes.

Conduct ongoing prioritization and risk analysis to outline the risk vectors across the YouTube platform.

Communicate with cross-functional teams (to include Engineering and Product Management teams) and executives about technical and rapidly evolving abuse risks targeting YouTube.

Interact with data and user analysis to deduce how bad actors exploit YouTube systems.

Use test accounts to identify and understand vulnerabilities within YouTube systems.
