The lead tech is a working technologist performing proceduresIn this position you will:In coordination with department director, organizes, plans and directs activities relating to patients and procedures for designated time and area. Maintains steady workflow ensuring a complete, accurate and timely work product.

Demonstrates the ability to be instrumental in the establishment and achievement of department and hospital priorities and goals and maintains compliance with all applicable governing and accrediting authorities.

Actively participates in the development of capital and equipment budgets, equipment modification, new equipment and essential construction and maintains operations of the department/service within budget parameters.

Continuously assesses and improves the quality of care and services provided. Maintains quality control programs as appropriate. Collects, generates, analyzes, and distributes statistical reports as required.

Maintains technical competence and skills in all areas of supervision.

Coordinates daily schedules while maintaining adequate staffing in all responsible areas.

Qualifications:Required qualifications for this position include:Associate's Degree in Radiological Technology or equivalent in approved A.M.A. program

2 years progressively more responsible experience CT and MRI related program/job

Valid California State Certification License in unlimited diagnostic radiology services

Venipuncture Certification

Preferred qualifications for this position include:Valid ARRT CT and MRI Certification License
