Description Company Overview:We are a leading trucking company based in Long Beach, California, specializing in transportation and logistics services. With a commitment to efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction, we play a crucial role in the movement of goods across the region.Position Overview:As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, drivers, and internal teams. Your responsibilities will include heavy order entry, email communication, coordination with drivers, and light dispatch duties. This role requires strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, as well as proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.Key Responsibilities:

Order Entry and Processing: Accurately enter and process customer orders into our system. Ensure that all order details are recorded correctly and promptly, meeting customer expectations and internal deadlines.

Email Communication: Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints via email in a timely and professional manner. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer concerns and resolving issues to their satisfaction.

Communication with Drivers: Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments. Provide drivers with necessary instructions, route information, and updates on customer requirements.

Light Dispatch Duties: Assist with light dispatch duties, including assigning drivers to routes, optimizing delivery schedules, and monitoring driver progress. Coordinate with dispatchers and operations team to ensure efficient fleet utilization.

Bilingual Support: Serve as a bilingual point of contact for Spanish-speaking customers and drivers. Translate documents, instructions, and communications as needed to facilitate effective communication and understanding.

Excel Expertise: Utilize Excel to analyze data, create reports, and track key metrics related to order processing, customer satisfaction, and driver performance. Develop and maintain pivot tables, formulas, and spreadsheets to support operational efficiency and decision-making.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Fluency in English and Spanish (both verbal and written) is required.

Previous experience in customer service, order entry, or administrative roles, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookup, and basic formulas.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, drivers, and internal teams.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
