Pay Rate:The pay rate for this job is $18 / hourWhat you'll be doing as a Customer ServiceCashier

Greet and direct all customers and employees upon entry of the facility in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

Track weight information from scale to the computer system and get appropriate signatures.

Attend scales that weigh and record recycling loads.

Handle cash, credit, or check transactions with customers.

Scan goods and collect payments.

Ensure pricing is correct.

Issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets

Redeem stamps and coupons.

Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.

Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new ones.

Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.

Maintain a clean work area.

Keep reports of transactions!

Answer customers' questions and get a manager if the answer does not solve the issue.

Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Preforms other duties as assigned.

Previous sales experience preferred but not required

Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Basic math skills - addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division on the fly

Strong communication skills and a positive attitude

Able to learn quickly about the client's products and needs

Able to stand in a stationary position for extended period of time
