Customer Service Representative

Description We are looking for a diligent Customer Service/Order Entry Representative to join our team in Pasadena, California. This role is centered around maintaining and enhancing customer relationships through efficient handling of customer inquiries, accurate data entry, and effective collaboration with other departments. Offering a contract to hire employment opportunity, this role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of our customer service operations.Responsibilities: Accurately update and maintain customer information in our EDI database Efficiently process customer orders and ensure their timely and accurate fulfillment Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer needs are met Assist with resolving customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively Generate reports and summaries of customer interactions and data Assist customers and sales reps regarding order discrepancies, size changes, style changes, and completion Notify sales reps on all style changes and verify all unconfirmed orders Handle re-orders, replacements, and special orders and assist with order entry Assist with creating credit memos and invoice proof of delivery and copy.Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role or similar position Proven experience in answering inbound and outbound calls Prior experience in a call center, providing exceptional customer service Proficient in data entry tasks and order entry systems Experience with email correspondence and managing customer inquiries via email Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Ability to schedule appointments effectively for multiple team members Strong communication skills and ability to handle customer complaints professionally Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies or procedures Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals and objectives.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
