Mercy General Hospital is proud to foster inclusion and diversity as part of our mission vision and values.ResponsibilitiesAs our Cardiac OR Nurse at Mercy General Hospital, you’ll care for patients who may have life-threatening cardiac events or conditions while helping their families navigate daily care and the long-term plan for healing and maintenance outside of the hospital.You’ll never have the same day twice as your patients’ needs evolve. That’s why you must be adaptable and detail-oriented, observing vitals and reporting the warning signs early to our multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, EKG techs, and other cardiovascular professionals.Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to go the extra mile for your patients and your strong assessment skills. Develop the skill set to manage very acute and complex cardiovascular patients
Managing patients with acute and implantable mechanical circulatory devices, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).
You will be trained in direct recovery of the post surgery patient.

Call RequiredQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
One (1) year of experience in med/surge acute care setting as an Registered Nurse. OR Experience with scrubbing and circulating abilities.
BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preffered Qualifications:
Other certifications may be required (i.e.; CNOR, ACLS)
Cardiac OR experience in an acute care setting
