Responsibilities:• Primary role to support Concept Design within FRL, through applied hands-on modelmaking.• Work with Multiple 3D Print technologies to prep and run molds.• Support Mold making and Casting efforts through diligent preparation of required tools• assist mold design – in prepping Machined molds, Model assembly, Mold cleaning and preparation• Organization a must• Aptitude for keeping a clean lab/ workspace guiding improvement.• Ability to maintain inventory, housekeeping and materials ordering.• Lab Organization.• Keeping a digital workflow/ creating inventory document.Min Requirements:• 2-3 years or more experience in a similar role• Knowledge of Silicone and Polyurethane• Self-determined individual who can rely on limited direction to plan and accomplish goals and isolate areas of improvement within the workflow• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment• Comfortable working in both team and individual environmentsPreferred:• Silicone seaming and paint• Understanding of additive technologies( FDM, SLA, SLS)• Capable of understanding software applications relating to 3D printing• TPM/ Excel spreadsheet knowledge• Materialise Magics/ Grab cad print and sprint• Knowledge of Cad software (Maya, Rhino, zbrush, solid works)• Paint finishing, and sanding• Previous model maker or art experience (Scratch building, Cosplay, miniatures.) Lab Requirement:Must be able to lift 25+ lbs. and stand on feet all day. Must adhere to lab safety requirements
