Data Center Lab Technician

Please note that this is a 1 year contract position. The Worldwide Infrastructure and Engineering team (WWIE) provides access to numerous lab resources and cloud-based services. We specialize in network infrastructure, customer support and lab services.Must have:- Eagerness to learn, will be taught onsite.- Min. H.S diploma- 1-2 years’ experience working in a data center environment (team willing to train the right candidate).Responsibilities:• Manage ticketing queue• Lab Infrastructure support• Resource coordination• Inventory control• Customer support• Data storage support• Server Farm support• Hypervisor support• Troubleshooting various software and hardware environments• Rack and install data center equipment• Open communication with various team leadersRequirements:• knowledgeable of server hardware and software• knowledgeable of routers and switches• knowledgeable of Access Points and controllers• knowledgeable of traffic generators and testing equipment• knowledgeable of terminal servers and PDU equipment• 1-2 years’ experience working in a data center environment• Excellent time management skills.• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.• Strong interest in learning.• Dependable.• Process-oriented.• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.Applicants must provide their phone number.
