- Install, upgrade and repair servers in a large scale data center environment.
- Diagnose server hardware issues and determine appropriate corrective action.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting.
- Respond to and update tickets in accordance with team procedures.
- Track and escalate trouble tickets to resolution.
- Work closely with cross functional groups in a team oriented environment.
- Minimum 2+ years supporting Linux OS on server based platforms
- Server based troubleshooting skills
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and network technologies
- Previous experience working in a data center environment
- Established knowledge of MAC OS
- Experience with JIRA Service Desk considered a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed
- Demonstrates a positive work attitude
