Data Center Technician

# Engages vendors at each site for physical installation of equipment # including rack & stack, cabling, power, out-of-band management, labeling and other services.# Engages vendors and coordinates maintenance and repair wo rk on critical facilities equipment. Depending on the site, this can include:o Emergency power systems: generator, generator fuel quality and transport, ATS and distribution switchgear, UPS and batterieso Cooling systems: condenser or chilled water , pumps and water systems, CRAC units, compressors, piping, refrigerant and heat rejection systems including diverse cooling sourceso Fire detection and suppression systems (coordination with fire departments as needed)o Data center cleaningo Blac k building events testing critical facilities equipmento Monitoring and notification systems for the above# Monitors and responds to alarms from critical facilities equipment 24 7, determines causes and impacts, and responds appropriately to protec t WAM IT systems.
