hands-on experience in servers - cabling, connection, SW installation, troubleshooting. Rack and stack servers- HPE DL ProLiant servers
- HPE SD Flex Superdome servers
- HPE 3PAr storage units
- HPE other storage units
- HPE switches
- Install power distribution units to racks
- I/O cards for DL servers
- I/O cards for SD Flex servers
- I/O cards for 3par storage
- Install memory DIMMs to DL servers
- Install memory DIMMs to SD Flex servers
- Update firmware to DL servers via ILO
- Update firmware to SD Flex via CLI
- Update firmware on storage devices
- Update firmware on NVDIMM memory
- Update firmware on switches
- Install Linux Operating System
- Install Windows Operating System
- Install VMWare (rarely but good to know)
- Familiar with DL servers
- Familiar with SD Flex servers
- Familiar with HPE storage devices
- Familiar with basic and advance networking
- Familiar with Linux and Windows Operating System
- Running copper and fiber cables
- Running specialized cables for server and storage (manuals provided or directed by engineers)
