Title- Data Engineer Location- 100% Remote Duration- 07 Months Required Skills: Scala, Hadoop, Python, Some Java Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, and implements Hadoop eco-system based applications to support business requirements.
• Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing.
• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.

• 5+ years of experience in computer programming, software development or related
• Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
• Strong programming experience in Scala, Python & Cloud
• Experience working with cloud solutions preferably Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• 3+ years of solid Java and REST experience
• 2+ years of experience in design, implementation, and support of solutions big data solution in Hadoop using Hive, Spark, HBase
• Great numerical and analytical skills
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design
