Data Entry Clerk for Imports Team

Description We are in search of a meticulous Data Entry Clerk for our Imports Team in Carson, California. The chosen candidate will be an integral part of our team in the logistics industry, focusing on managing customer applications, maintaining precise customer records, and resolving customer queries. This role will also involve monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications with efficiency Keep customer credit records precise and up-to-date Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions Use the Cargowise software for data entry tasks Handle a data entry project without mention of duration Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data privacy regulations. Requirements Applicant must possess at least 1 year of experience in a similar role within the logistics industry Proficiency in using Cargowise software is essential for this role Strong data entry skills are required Ability to manage and organize large volumes of data efficiently Familiarity with import processes and procedures within the logistics sector High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication and collaboration skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Ability to work independently with minimal supervision High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required Knowledge of regulatory standards related to imports is a plus. ­Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
