Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Data Entry Specialist. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our organization's mission by ensuring accurate and efficient data management. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating databases with precision. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Data Entry:

Accurately input and update information into databases and spreadsheets.

Ensure data integrity and consistency by performing regular quality checks.

Record Maintenance:

Organize and maintain physical and digital files for easy retrieval.

Update and verify records, including donor information, volunteer hours, and program data.

Reporting:

Generate and prepare reports from the database as requested by the team.

Assist in the analysis of data to identify trends or areas for improvement.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other team members to understand data entry needs across different departments.

Communicate effectively to resolve any discrepancies or missing information.

Confidentiality:

Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.

Training and Documentation:

Train staff on data entry best practices and guidelines.

Maintain documentation of data entry procedures for reference.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience in data entry or a related field.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data input.

Familiarity with database software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Commitment to the mission and values of the nonprofit sector.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certification in data management is a plus.
