Responsibilities

We are looking for a Data Management Expert to become a full-time member of Public Consulting Group's Technology Consulting practice. Qualified candidates will function as a Change Leader responsible for aiding in the advancement of Data Management capabilities across our clients' organizations. Responsibilities will include executing Data Management Maturity assessment, creating, and implementing Data Management strategy, refining, and updating data management methodology documents and artifacts, contributing to the development of data management training, and executing data governance use cases.

Roles and Responsibilities: • Design and Implement Data Management Strategy • Continuous improvement of the data management methodology and the execution toolkit (e.g. tools, templates, process diagrams, communication artifacts, etc.) • Continuous improvement of the data management maturity assessment methodology • Execution of maturity assessments (based on CMMI DMM) for each data domain and working with Data Stewards to prioritize process areas to focuses capability building • Lead/Execute data governance initiatives • Define and establish data governance metrics, KPI's and metrics • Define and operationalize data governance policies, procedures, and guidelines for Enterprise-wide usage • Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects • Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals • Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models • Works on or may lead complex projects of large scope • Projects may have significant and long-term impact • Provides solutions which may set precedent • Dedicated to exemplary customer service

Qualifications

Qualifications: • Minimum 3+ years of experience with Data Governance, Data Management • Clear understanding of industry best practices and standards related to Data Management and the DMBOK • Experience with DG tool suites (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Alation, etc.), and specifically implementation/operational usage Business Glossary, Data Catalog, Data Quality capabilities within these tools. • Analytical & Word Processing: Must demonstrate command of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) • Presentation: must demonstrate clear, concise articulation of proposed actions, illustrating opportunity, alternatives, recommendation, and associated economics • Strong oral, written, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills • 4-year degree required BS/BA Business or Equivalent
