  • Analyze and translate business requirements into conceptual and fully detailed logical and physical data models
  • Create physical data models based on customer engagement workshops existing applications data sources and business ask
  • Contribute to ongoing updates to data modeling standards and guidelines
  • Work with solutions architect subject matter experts data stewards to capture business requirements to produce Data Model
  • Identify and document business logic rules needed to transform data before loading it into target DW
  • Map data points from source system to Data Warehouse dimensions tables and fact tables
  • Work with the Analytics BI team to identify DW fact dimensions tables needed for analytics and BI Reports
  • Evaluate physical data models to ensure they align to the corresponding logical data models
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of hands on experience with 3NF logical dimensional and physical data modeling
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science information technology or a similar field preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Azure cloud stack such as SQL PaaS Synapse Analytics MPP Data Factory ADF Generated data model script and create entities on DW schema
  • Prior experience Insurance industry is a plus
  • Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system Experience using the Agile methodology
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of
  • Metadata management and related tools
  • Relational and document database technologies
  • Business process modeling preferred
  • Physical data modeling for document stores preferred
  • Experience with data modeling tools such as ERWIN preferred
