Title: Sr Data modelerLocation: Pleasanton, CA. Remote till covidPlease find below the Job Description:Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to support big data platform solutions
• Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models
• Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality, reduce redundancy and optimize performance
• Optimize, update and maintain logical and physical data models, source to target mappings to support new and existing projects
• Establish, communicate and enforce best practices and standards
• Strong communications skills (verbal and written) and the ability to effectively communicate design recommendations to a varied audience
• Build positive team dynamics by understanding usability and design principles

• 7+ years of experience creating and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models in big data environment
• Experience in working with Cloud technologies like Azure, Google Cloud Platform is a plus
• Extensive experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Extensive experience with Entity Relationship Diagrams and data modeling tools
• Extensive experience with Erwin Data Modeling tool.
• Experience performing data discovery, analysis and profiling
• Experience creating source-to-target mappings for both batch and real time data
• Experience with Lambda architectures
