Daycare part/time assistant

Large family home daycare in need of a part/time assistant 10-20 hours a week, $16.00 hour, experience helpful but willing to train. Duties include housekeeping, child supervision/interaction and pet waste clean-up if needed. Lifting up to 40 pounds as needed. Interacting with kids-reading, singing. Playing games like bingo, match and supervising art time or demonstrating building techniques are typical activities. Also, tossing the ball, soccer drills, teaching how to swing are outdoor activities you may be requested to engage in with children. Hours are typically between 12-5. In August will switch to 11:30-3:30/4:30, Monday -Friday. Please have reliable transportation. (Public Bus stops within 30 feet of residence) and enjoy interacting with children ages 3 months to eight years. There will be some extra-long days when one of the two full time employees need an extra day off due to illness or personal day. The daycare is full so bringing your child with you to work is not an option. Please do not apply if you cannot pass a background check.
