DDR Firmware Developer Remote Optional As a DDR Firmware Developer, you are responsible for working with the Platform Firmware team to develop embedded firmware for DDR memory initialization, configuration of memory security and QoS, power management and RAS features for a future server-class platform. In this role you will be responsible for porting, feature enablement and engaging closely with the firmware, RTL, Design Verification, HW Platform and Silicon Validation teams. You will have an opportunity to engage with third parties on enablement of new platforms, as well as providing input to our SoC and platform architects on future designs. Minimum Qualifications: 5 years experience in embedded firmware development Self-starter who takes initiative and brings technical leadership (This has potential to grow into Lead role) Prior experience with DDR system architecture including interpreting JEDEC specifications Experience developing DDR memory controller firmware, testing in pre-silicon environments, post-silicon bringup and interoperability testing across multiple vendors Proficient writing and debugging C and assembly Driver development experience in RTOS or OS Kernel environments, preferably open source RTOSes such as Zephyr or FreeRTOS Understanding of server-class RAS features and event managementYoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
