Sterile Technician

Under supervision, provides clinical support services involving sterilization, preparation, ordering, distribution, collection, and storage of dental supplies and equipment. This position is responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of supplies and equipment following established infection control practices.

Dental Assistant

To assist in the performance of quality, caring clinical dentistry with the optimal experience for both patients and the dentist constantly in mind; to become adept at assigned clinical procedures; to aid and the doctor smoothly and unobtrusively. Perform clinical and technical procedures under the super­vision of a licensed dentist. The DA gets the patient ready, prepares the operatory and equipment and fully supports and assists the doctor during examinations and treatment. Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients and dentist. Communicates treatment options and explains procedures to patients. Maintain equipment and inventory. Adhere to all required OSHA and health regulations. Eight hour OSHA Infection Control Course required.
