Job Description:
Perform patient concierge services including scheduling and confirming patients, checking patients in and out, collecting payments, presenting treatment plans, giving new patient office tours, etc .
Handle billing, insurance claims, and payment processing
Be the liaison between the doctor, specialist, lab and patients to coordinate care
Assist with dental procedures as needed, including preparing patients, setting up instruments and turning over rooms, taking x-rays and instrument sterilization
Form long lasting relationships with patients in order to garner trust and educate patients on treatment plans, financial options, and post-treatment care
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in dental assisting preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in a dental office, with experience in both front office administration and dental assisting
Skills
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, must enjoy connecting with patients
Ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
Attention to detail and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
Ability to work independently as a self starter and as part of a team
Certifications
Current CPR certification.
X-ray certification
