Deputy Building Official

The City of Paso Robles is excited to announce the recruitment for a Deputy Building Official in the Community Development Department. The Building Division administers the plan review, permitting, and inspection processes for construction projects, and works collaboratively to provide support to other City departments. The Deputy Building Official will play a pivotal role in providing direct supervision and support to inspection staff and contract services related to the construction of a significant number of new housing units. The successful candidate will be calm, strategic, and creative in their work; thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment; and be customer service orientated.

Wage Range: $48.50 - $61.61 Hourly | $100,888.32 - $128,158.16 Annually
