Robert Half might have the Desktop Support Technician role for you, if you have a flair for clearly breaking down and explaining convoluted technical information in a way that is easily understood by non-technical users. This position is ideal for self-starters with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for working in an innovative environment. This Desktop Support Analyst role is a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity based in the San Diego, California, area.Major responsibilities- Fix computer problems, and recommend appropriate action/solutions- Supply computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures- Arrange hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors- Interface regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities- Retain, investigate, and restore computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals- Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems Requirements - Microsoft Office 365 experience desired- Foundational knowledge in Computer Repair- Basic Troubleshooting experience highly preferred- General familiarity with Microsoft Azure- Demonstrated knowledge of Azure Active Directory- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Exchange- Strong familiarity with Computer Imaging- Adeptness in VoIP- Expertise in Desktop Imaging- Onboarding experience highly desired- 1+ years of desktop support or other related experience- Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
