Desktop Support Technician

Humane is seeking a Desktop support contractor to join the team and focus on supporting and troubleshooting there Hardware Devices. Looking for someone who can come in to help provision first party hardware. Working with Command Lines tools for updating and provisioning this hardware and tracking the hardware using their Asset Management tools. First line of support/triage for these devices and working with other teams to share logs/file bugs for hardware that isn’t working as expected. Working cross functionally with both IT and Exec Admin team to get help with prioritization and allocation for team. The role will be about 90% focused on Hardware and about 10% support. The role can evolve into more support focused down the road. Familiarity with Mac Os. Knowing Bash Commands, listing Files and Directory. Running pre-written scripts. Identify if there issues or escalate if there are any problems. They have SOP’s that are well written for this candidate to follow. Android Management Tool exp would be nice to have. They need to be able to read the scripts, and triage when necessary. Don’t need to be super technical, Kyle is open to a strong junior to mid-level Desktop candidates.Skills:mac os x, hardware troubleshooting, Google Workspace, SlackTop Skills Details:mac os x,hardware troubleshooting,Google Workspace,SlackAdditional Skills & Qualifications:3 month contract and a chance to extend or convert down the road.
