We have a new opportunity for a remote Desktop Support Technician who will play a crucial role in supporting our end users and proactively identifying their needs. This candidate will support users in the Central Time Zone (CST). The ideal candidate will be relatable and responsible when interacting with customers and provide them a consultative approach to solving issues. This candidate should be able to transform technical IT solutions lingo into terms everyone understands, and not intimidated by new or complex problems. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology and willing to learn and stay on the cutting edge.Skills and Experience:

  • 2 to 5+ years of related work experience, or AA degree, or technical training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A+ certification - or ability to obtain within first 6 weeks of employment
  • Strong Windows 10 knowledge and break-fix
  • Experience in deploying Windows machines
  • Microsoft Office 365 experience
  • O365 issues, i.e. connectivity issues, trouble connecting to VPN, problems in Excel
  • Understands Active Directory, checks security groups and end user qualification
  • Hardware and basic networking support experience
  • Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products
