DevOps Engineer- onsite foster city, CASkills- Kubernetes, Docker, AWS frameworks, and ElasticSearch

Experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript

To achieve these goals, our team has built several web applications that enable us to visualize, inspect, and validate the semantic road data. Our next DevOps Engineer will help enable the road network team’s expansion into more mission-critical services. A number of the systems the team maintain are used across the company and enable visualization and introspection of the road network data in simulation, log playback, tele-operations, fleet management, and on-vehicle dashboards.Responsibilities

Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and solutions
Working with software engineers to ensure that development follows establish processes and works as intended
Deploy updates and fixes in a timely manner

Qualifications

Experience maintaining complex web applications at scale
Experience working with content pipelines where reliable validation and data integrity are paramount
Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related field) or equivalent practical experience
Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS frameworks, and ElasticSearch
Experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience building and deploying containerized applications
Experience building and maintaining relational and/or NoSQL databases

Bonus Qualifications

Master's / PhD in computer science (or related field)
Experience with Redis or Elasticache
Experience with mapping or GIS systems
