Skechers Digital seeks a scrum master to coordinate and coach our software development team, applying scrum methodology to produce high-quality work. This role will create self-organizing teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints, supporting various projects serving Skechers Digital direct-to-consumer business, including e-commerce and digital product development. The successful candidate will work to establish processes consistent with digital best practices and Agile development, create and track project plans, manage team tasks, communicate plans and status to team members and stakeholders, handle incoming requests, issues, and other day-to-day interactions as needed to keep projects moving. This role will report to the Director of Digital Program Management and become part of a core Digital program team managing and delivering projects to accelerate business growth for Skechers USA.ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-Manage each project’s scope and timelineCoordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-upsCoach team members in scrum methodology and other Agile frameworksFacilitate internal communication and effective collaborationWork with product owners to handle backlogs and new requestsResolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occurHelp teams implement changes effectivelyEnsure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprintGuide development teams to higher scrum maturityHelp build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on itIntake daily requests and issues via email or Smartsheet, managing to resolution within Jira and Confluence project spacesHandles incoming requests/issues/questions, track down decision makers, address directly if applicable, and/or drive to clear decisions that unblock work. Partner with production support to ensure issue timely issue resolution.
