Direct Instructional Behavioral Support Staff

A very rewarding and meaningful experience. You will be trained in a variety of effective behavioral intervention programs to successfully support an Adult with Autism (ASD) in his home and varied community settings. Training will include Positive Behavioral Supports, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Structures for Quality of Life, Discrete Trail Training (D.T.T.), Teaching From Task Analysis, and Crisis Prevention Training. With quality of life as a goal.

Job is performed in a variety of settings (home and community) Settings will include job sites, shopping, leisure activities(swimming, hiking, fitness center, beach outings, medical appointments, camping and vacation locations) In home supports will include meal prep, personal hygiene, daily chores, vegetable garden harvest, leisure activities, etc.

Working conditions are in a relaxed environment with dedicated staff who care about making a difference in others lives.

Employees must have a valid drivers license with proof of auto insurance. Ability to lift 40 lbs. Submit to a DMV record & a background check. High School Diploma

Prefer staff with experience with Autism but not required. We will train the right person. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour. A pay increase review is every 3 months. Top pay $25.00 per hour with a potential of $26.00 per hour if staff request training option to certified behavior support level 1.
