Director, Contract Administration will be responsible for supporting ABC Signature with administering contractual obligations in connection with talent contracts, analyzing deal terms, confirming payment obligations and overseeing payment set-ups for above-the-line talent in connection pilot/series production, supervising the tracking and distribution of agreements/documents.ResponsibilitiesMonitor/track production orders and production schedules; analyze and interpret payment obligations in talent contracts, set up payment instructions

Consult with Creative/Current/Business Affairs executives and show producers to track start dates and end dates for writers/producers

Administer episodic director agreements and DGA deal memos, consult with BA Execs and Production Executives in connection with determining director start dates/work periods and monitor receipt of timely script delivery notifications for DGA requirements

Consult regularly with Line Producers, Production Executives and Production Finance in connection with series production issues and payments

Coordinate and correspond with Business Affairs, Creative Affairs, Finance, and Legal departments regarding contract administration issues

Handle instructions regarding payments for pension and health for directors, writers, producers and monitor Motion Picture Pension and Health forms and payments

Collaborate with Labor Relations Executives regarding research and manage WGA/DGA audit/claim payments

Develop, recommend and coordinate the implementation of new administrative procedures, as needed, working closely and efficiently with Business Affairs and Production Finance

Provide leadership and direction to direct reports

Ability to discuss complicated and/or delicate issues both internally and with reps while exercising sensitivity and discretion

Assist labor and legal departments with guild audits

Basic QualificationsDemonstrated relevant experience at a major television/motion picture studio

Live within commutable distance to Burbank, CA

Excellent written and verbal communication

Time management/prioritization of deadlines

Team player/positive attitude/motivational

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Able to multi-task and juggle heavy work load

Comfort with change and ambiguity/flexibility

Preferred QualificationsExperience in analysis of television contracts for writers, producers, directors, actors, casting directors and rights

Knowledge of WGA and DGA union agreements

Strong time management/problem resolution skills

Effective coaching and feedback skills

Management experience a plus

Preferred EducationBA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience
