The EHS Director will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and for developing and implementing policies and procedures to protect the health and safety of employees, tenants, visitors, and the community.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement an effective EHS program that includes policies, procedures, and training to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulationsInstitute and ensure the team meets the inspection schedule and compliance audit expectationsOversee the Injury and Illness Prevention Program including investigations into incidents, near misses, and accidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrenceDevelop and track EHS training to relevant populationsManage interactions with outside agencies, such as Cal/OSHA, Fire Department, AQMD, CUPA, and local agencies, to obtain favorable investigation results and ensure compliance with regulationsCooperate with other management teams, such as Legal, Studio Design & Construction, Production Services and Facilities, to ensure that EHS considerations are integrated into all aspects of the Studio's operationsDevelop strategies for compliance with new EHS regulationsCompile and present weekly and monthly metrics to management and Corporate EHSDevelop and manage EHS metricsEstablish and maintain the EHS departmental short and long-term goalsManage consultants and contractors for specific projects and oversee the Contractor Safety Management ProgramManage Corporate EHS business audits and coordinate the implementation of corrective actionsUnderstand project and department accounting expectationsEnsure Gensuite, the EHS information management system, is used to document company compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure that all tasks, inspections, incidents, near misses, action items, etc. are properly tracked/documented and closed
