Although we deliver a category-leading online DIY tax software for nearly 40M filers, there are still 85M American consumers who spend too much time and money on inefficient and expensive tax prep services. This Director role will lead one of our most critical entrepreneurial missions: driving massive growth in the $22B Live Assisted Services market. This role will lead a cross-functional team that is disrupting the current paradigm in a fragmented market of offline services with limited technology and opaque pricing. The Director will be responsible for setting the vision, strategy and delivery of growth focused outcomes. As part of delivering the world’s best technology-powered expert tax service, we have invested heavily in scalable, proprietary AI-assisted features to improve the customer and expert experience over the past 10 years.This leader will systematically evaluate and prioritize the most important 0-to-1 growth bets for the Live Assisted Services strategy and drive outcome-focused execution against them with speed, quality, and customer obsession. This leader will help transform the PM organization through hiring, coaching, and mentoring to ensure the team drives industry-leading innovation and breakthrough adoption while maintaining a high quality bar.What you'll bring

10+ years designing and delivering world-class software products in a Product Management leadership role.

Experience building and leading a large PM team for a business unit that comprises both at scale businesses as well as new innovation.

Strong track record of owning revenue outcomes and delivering industry leading growth

Experience bringing new offerings to the world successful (0 to 1) as well as scaling offerings that have product market fit and driving growth from mature offerings.

Deep customer obsession and strong track record delivering unparalleled customer benefit

Demonstrated repeated success in creating innovative products that deliver extraordinary outcomes

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels

Capable of crafting a vision, decomposing it into bite-size milestones, and leading execution

Excels in driving cross-functional teams and leading initiatives across an organization involving multiple product teams

Deeply curious and data-driven. Develops and defends strong points-of-view with data, analytics and the voice of the customer

How you will leadCore Role AccountabilitiesThis role is accountable for:

E2E product strategy to achieve significant business growth in the $22B Live Assisted Services market, including incubation and scaling of new growth bets and acceleration and innovation on existing services.

Drive the product roadmap (experiences and features) to attract and grow our customer base

Partner across all functions (Product, Design, Engineering, Analytics, Customer Success, Sales and Marketing) to deliver against defined program financial targets and experience improvements

Build a high-performance team and culture. Attract great talent and lead, develop, and inspire a team to delivery industry-leading results in both the short and long term
