Role: Display Electrical Engineer Location: Alcon, Goleta, CA Job Description: Required qualifications:

B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
2 years or more of relevant experience
Display design experience
Knowledge and hands-on experience with Oscilloscopes, Spectrum and Logic Analyzers
Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English

Preferred qualifications:

Progressive engineering experience
Design, develop, test, and implement 3D displays, digital and analog systems for use in medical, scientific, manufacturing, or R&D applications
OrCAD Capture or similar, Schematic and PCB Designer experience
Display/EMI/EMC procedures, testing, troubleshooting, and test equipment experience
CE, UL, IEC 60601-1-2 experience
Collaborating with Display panel vendors and display contract manufacturer experience
3D display polarization experience
Medical device development experience
Familiarity with video display measurements, calibration, and display testing equipment
Programming/scripting expertise
