In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking a Documentation and Training Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the rollout of improvement solutions across the company via managing a team of documentation specialists who create high-quality training documents (e.g., process documentation, job aids, standard operating procedures) for the Lakeshore team. The position also requires developing comprehensive training materials to fully realize the benefits of myriad continuous improvement projects across the business, including creating materials to efficiently train and integrate new users in all business functions. Applicants should be quick learners with excellent people and communication skills. The ideal candidate also is familiar with learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools. And we’re here to help you succeed—in 2022 Lakeshore earned its Great Place to Work® Certification™ and is proud to put its associates first. A day in the office looks like this: Participating in discussions and trainings with external vendors and internal senior leaders to learn new systems, technologies and procedures Interviewing external vendors and trainers; reviewing related documentation to become well versed in product technologies Creating and maintaining high-quality, robust training manuals, process workflow maps and supporting documentation for internal users and stakeholders Partnering with the Continuous Improvement team and Program Management Office to develop timelines that support the effective training of all employees prior to go-live dates Creating and managing a central, virtual library with all training materials Capturing data on the status of continuous improvement projects
