We are parented with a Home Decor and Lifestyle brand curated located in Huntington Beach, CA. It is their mission to help people build their happy home by offering accessible design advice and decor items.

They are currently seeking an

E-commerce Manager to oversee and service their online shop. We're looking for a collaborative team member with excellent organization and creative skills, who can assist in creating happy customer experiences. This person will own the strategy and execution of merchandising our online shop to support our sales and growth goals. The online shop consists of curated furniture, lighting, rugs, and dcor, so an astute eye for design and a general knowledge of the industry is a plus!

This position is a full-time position and require on-site meetings in Huntington Beach, CA. Candidates must be local to Southern CA.

Summary:
  • Development of the E-commerce project presence with a defined strategy to achieve sales goals and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Management of relationships with external e-commerce partners to effectively collaborate and drive growth. Currently have multiple vendors and each have different processes, terms, and conditions.
  • Creation of a shipping strategy and ongoing management to allow competitive pricing for customers.
  • Responsible for coordinating and planning all photoshoots that include e-commerce product. This will include, logistics, styling, team, shot lists, etc.
  • Assist the Built Custom Homes team with selecting and ordering product for projects. This will include move in's, managing timelines, installation logistics, etc.
  • Ability to create and maintain monthly reports to show growth of marketplaces, the impact of marketing, and analytics of channels.
  • Ability to ensure KPI's are met and/or communicate where we need to focus to drive KPI success.
  • Negotiate partnership details for collaborations or partnerships

Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of shipping/freight best practices and carrier relationships.
  • A strong sense of customer experience and service, as well as ideas on how to improve customer experience and satisfaction via our dropship process.
  • A solid understanding of inventory reporting and ways to streamline current systems.
  • The ability to select products from our approved vendors to merchandise collections.
  • The initiative to devise strategies with social media and marketing teams to harness sales-related insights and drive sales to our online store.
  • Ability to maintain, update, modify, and edit products including product images, weights, categories, specifications, and inventory in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ability to process orders within 24 hours and answer all customer service inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Proficiency in copywriting.
  • Experience and success working in a self-managed environment.
  • A long-term planner - we are looking for someone that can grow with us!
  • Shopify or Google Analytics (Gorgias preferred but not required) experience a must
