E-Commerce Shipping Associate

Position Summary

The E-Commerce Shipping Associate plays a key role in ensuring customers receive their orders quickly, accurately, and in excellent condition. We are a replacement parts reseller, and accuracy is a key function for this role. The shipping associate is responsible for accurately picking, packing, labeling, and shipping customer orders. This role ensures that all outgoing shipments meet quality standards and carrier requirements while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and package customer orders for shipment in accordance with company standards.

Verify product accuracy, quantities, SKUs, and order details before packing.

Print and apply shipping labels using carrier software (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.)

Select carries with the best freight rates for every order

Operate warehouse equipment safely, including box cutters, packaging tools, and computers.

Maintain accurate records of shipped orders in the warehouse management system (ShipStation).

Assist with receiving, inventory counts, and restocking as needed.

Assist Warehouse Supervisor with any tasks that are needed for normal business operations, including but not limited to, warehouse

and restroom maintenance, product assembly and any other task assigned.

Communicate any order discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.

Keep workstations clean and organized at all times.

Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in e-commerce fulfillment, warehouse operations, or shipping preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

Experience with Amazon Seller Central, ShipStation, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of domestic and international shipping procedures.

Knowledge of packaging best practices and carrier requirements.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Work Environment & Schedule

Fast-paced warehouse environment.

Typical hours: Mon-Thurs, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM, Fri, 8:00 AM-2:00 PM
