Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob DescriptionYou will work with Augmented Reality products, focusing on designing, developing, and optimizing power measurement and automation systems. This role requires experience with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and DAQs, as well as proficiency in automation scripting languages and electrical circuit troubleshooting.Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize power measurement and automation systems.

Work with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and DAQs (e.g., National Instruments, Keysight, Tektronix).

Set up, configure, and calibrate systems for accurate power measurements.

Develop automated test systems using scripting languages such as Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB.

Perform in-depth analysis of measurement data using tools like MATLAB and NumPy.

Troubleshoot and debug electrical circuits and test setups effectively.

Conduct electrical testing in a consumer electronics R&D environment.

Generate test reports and document findings.

Essential Skills

3-5 years of experience in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.

Bachelor of Science in Engineering.

Proficiency in Python, C/C, or similar languages for test automation and data analysis.

Experience with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and DAQs.

Strong skills in automation scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB).

Ability to troubleshoot and debug electrical circuits and test setups.

Familiarity with USB, I2C, SPI, and UART for device communication and control.

Understanding of embedded systems and firmware interaction with hardware components.

Proficiency in using Git or other version control systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with Android OS for testing and integration purposes.

Experience with AR hardware or performance testing.

Knowledge of thermal testing and using a variety of test equipment.

Experience in consumer electronics.

Work EnvironmentYou will work onsite full-time at the client's location in Sorrento Valley. The work environment offers a semi-flexible schedule (arrive between 7am-9am and work 8 hours), competitive pay, and a great culture.
