Description SAIC is seeking an

Electronic Warfare Engineer to shadow and grow into a Senior EW Subject Matter Expert. This position will be located at

Point Mugu, CA.

Job Duties:
  • Perform Electronic Warfare (EW) engineering work involved in the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes to the test, operations, and employment of operational systems across air, land and maritime warfighting domains.
  • Through training and development within the organization, the selected candidate will be responsible for guiding test projects supporting systems that intercept, identify, or actively utilize electromagnetic energy to determine, exploit, counter, reduce, or prevent hostile use of the electromagnetic spectrum, while optimizing the use of the electromagnetic spectrum for joint forces.
  • Work side-by-side a highly successful EW team responsible for multiple EW flight test pods performing various test missions throughout multiple armed force sectors and locations throughout the world. This team is seeking a fast learning, highly motivated individual with a great team ethic and desire to learn and implement state-of-the-art EW systems and techniques. The team has evolved from this mold of growing long term, highly recognized and success oriented individuals.

Qualifications

Education and experience:
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or related discipline and five (5) years of experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Required skills:
  • Possess knowledge of systems engineering practices and procedures as they pertain to sustainment, modification, logistics, and production management principles, concepts, policies, and systems
  • Possess a knowledge of integrated air-vehicles, ground systems, and support equipment sufficient to test, troubleshoot, evaluate, and oversee the installation, operations, and maintenance of electronic systems or devices.
  • Worked a minimum of 5 years with EW based systems and teams.

Required clearance:
  • Must have an active Secret clearance.
Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
