Employer Accounting Analyst

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in for a medium sized company located in Concord, California. The role revolves around managing accounts receivable/billing and analysis. This is a highly analytical s role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Apply today!Responsibilities: Process billing using Microsoft Excel and upload data to the mainframe. Download daily lockbox detail, apply payments to specific accounts, and allocate receipts to appropriate funds. Reconcile and invoice for differences, preparing billing documents and discrepancy letters. Balance monthly receipts to bank statements and prepare totals for monthly general ledger update. Conduct research, prepare, bill, and document status of compliance audits, account reconciliations, and withdrawal liability.The role requires proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR), MS Excel, Microsoft Excel, and Billing.Requirements Degree in business, accounting, finance or economicsIntermediate to Advanced MS Excel (Pivots, V-lookups, Index-matching, formulas) Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable role Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) systems. Ability to handle billing procedures accurately and efficiently. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with MS Excel and Microsoft Excel. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
