End User Computing and Enterprise Risk Management Contractor

Pay Rate: $20-22/hour

Work Site: Downtown San Francisco, CA 94104 - local candidates only and available to come into the office in a hybrid manner (Tuesday and Wednesday but can be flexible).

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Duration: 6 months

This role is responsible for the general support to the End User Computing (EUC) and IT Risk Management programs by supporting team with ad hoc and regular (e.g., monthly and quarterly) initiatives. Activities may include EUC inventory management and certification, independent EUC control testing, inventory reconciliation, technology exception and issues monitoring, and corresponding with business units as needed.

Responsibilities: • Collaborate with business units to collect and maintain EUC inventory on a quarterly basis• Assist with executing quarterly independent testing, including coordination with business units on timing, sample selection, and validation• Assist with quarterly and ad-hoc reporting requirements• Identify opportunities to transition EUCs to controlled application development environment• Provide administrative support for EUC program obligations• Perform other duties or projects as assigned IT Risk Management• Generate lists of monthly technology exceptions and issues• Assist with preliminary exception and issue analysis• Perform other duties or projects as assigned

Required Skills:

• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.• Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Advanced Excel knowledge would be a strong plus.• Knowledge of at least one common programming or scripting language (e.g., Python or similar).• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and data analysis.• Attention to detail, execution, project management and organization skills.• Ability to work effectively on multiple projects concurrently.• Highly motivated and eager to learn.

NEEDS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Candidates must have data analytics, Excel/Access/scripting language backgrounds
  • Upper class undergraduate or post-graduate student seeking a degree in business administration, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, information technology, or financial and other engineering disciplines; or closely related field of study from an accredited college or university. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
