Akkodis is searching for a

Field Support Engineer to provide installation and post installation including Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems and Facial Recognition Systems.

Contract Type: 10-12+ month contract with possibility of extension

Location: Onsite in Rancho Cordova, CA 95670

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours per week, Paid Weekly

Pay Range: 25-29/hrly No travel is required for this position. All duties are performed at one location

Responsible for: System support to include first/second/third level software support Hardware support Take control and make necessary decisions to resolve routine situations with minimal impact to the customer. Expected to act on self-initiative to make necessary corrective action, if possible, or take appropriate action up chain management. Provides installation, post installation and ongoing maintenance support at specified customer location. Responsible for total system hardware and software support. Must be able to be on an On Call rotating basis.

Mandatory Skills:

4-5 years of Technical Support Experience

General knowledge of industry principles including: Operating systems, remote software, troubleshooting software and hardware, LAN/WAN, and customer service. Clear and professional written and oral communication. Attention to detail Support to internal and external teams Ability to work independently or in team environment Network monitoring for software and diagnostics Excellent problem-solving skills

Desired Skills - Microsoft OS, Linux OS, and SQL Database Biometrics
