Engineering Program Manager ES 1697 Job Summary A Hardware Test Engineering team is responsible for developing technologies, calibration methodologies and the respective instrumentation for the calibration and validation of a popular consumer electronics company s products. This team designs solutions that will be used during New Product Introduction. Client is looking for a leader who can drive the development of our instrumentation in parallel to that of the product; someone who can thrive in a dynamic and high pressure environment. You will have a deep understanding of software and hardware fundamentals & a background designing of complex systems. You will apply your excellent communication skills and passion to lead multi-functional teams to develop ground-breaking products. Your contributions will make a pronounced difference to future embedded products that teams will take great pride in.

Responsibilities Establish and manage program feature baseline, scheduling, critical path, and technology risks areas for execution Support project definition and drive closure of architecture and technical opens Grasp complex technical matters or abstract issues and present them in an actionable form Identify and highlight risk areas and mitigation strategies making sure the right people are involved. Resolve roadblocks for the team Cross-functionally communicate at a senior level key developments and updates on new instrument/fixtures Help lead cross-functional teams in engineering and validation activities

Key Qualifications 5+ years of industry experience taking products (preferably portable consumer electronics devices) all the way from concept design and architecture definition, through execution, including engineering development and validation to ramping and shipping 5+ years of project management experience Excellent communication skills verbally and written Leadership skills and ability to inspire team members Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty Strong technical background Well-versed in setting up project schedules and work breakdown structures Self motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities, capable of identifying risk early in the project. Ability to travel internationally Education & Experience BS EE/ME/CE degree or related experience required, MS desired
